Veterans HQ is unique in co-ordinating existing services and bridging gaps in service delivery, working in a multi-agency approach to supporting veterans and families.
Veterans HQ has a dedicated Families Officer who provides a fully holistic, cohesive support programme designed specifically to meet the needs of the individual and the family Unit.
Veterans HQ’s approach to supporting veterans is in high demand because it…
- is a quality assured process in supporting veterans whose problems are often complex and impacts greatly upon their families
- saves time and money for Veterans and their families;
- reduces emotional & mental health distress & upset; and
- is proven to be cost effective.
Veterans HQ provides a single point of contact for services, at present families say that they have to tell their story numerous times which often only adds to the trauma and distress they experience.
As well as offering the emotional support and practical help, our Families Officer plans a range of social events that bring the family together – this could be a BBQ, walk in the country, sports day or just a get-together over a cuppa to share and support each other.
